Manager In Training (MIT)

We are seeking a high-energy Manager in Training to join our team at our new location in Sanford, FL. In this role, you will work closely with our team of associates to conduct business in an efficient and profitable manner while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Manager in Training, you will receive paid training on all aspects of our business, including utilizing our industry-leading technology and equipment. You will perform each associate role for 30 days to learn, lead, and train by example.

Newly appointed MITs will be provided with extensive training to prepare them to take on a General Manager role with our company. The Manager in Training position is designed to provide guidance and hands-on experience in all aspects of the business, including daily operations, financial management, team supervision, and guest service.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage daily operations
  • Ensure that the output of work meets quality standards
  • Accurately reconcile financials for the facility
  • Directly supervise and coach associates
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
  • Monitor equipment and ensure proper maintenance
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Set objectives and communicate them to associates
  • Manage facility and supplies
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Handle and resolve guest issues
  • Lead marketing initiatives to drive revenue
  • Keep accurate records of all business activities

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2-5+ years of management experience
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and passing a background check
  • A friendly and upbeat personality
  • Effective communication skills
  • The ability to work a 50-hour workweek
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
  • Basic computer skills
  • A neat appearance
  • A keen eye for detail

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Sales experience
  • Mechanical aptitude or knowledge
  • Carwash experience

 

Compensation:

 

  • $45,000-$60,000 BOE
  • 20% bonus based on performance with measurable KPIs
  • PTO
  • Free carwash membership
  • Profit-sharing earnings based on P&L results
